I live in Johannesburg and work with various colleagues in Southern and Eastern Africa (CRM and Tableau Projects). Have been working with various BI tools since 2016 ( before which there was many many years of v-look up on excel) and was glad when I found the Tableau Community Forum. Hi! I am Chaitanya Jiwani. I am a Tableau Consultant, living and working in the orange city i.e. Nagpur, India. I currently work at Nice Software Solutions and my primary responsibilities include creating dashboards, reports, and managing data sources. Chris Geatch
Chris currently goes by the title of Data Architect, but has been a problem solver ever since starting as a computer programmer shortly after programs stopped being written in 1s and 0s. With exposure to tens of languages and technologies, there's usually something squirreled away that will move things forward for any given problem, and the forums provide an outlet for his general desire to be helpful. Having over 20 years of experience across multiple airline functions (and their many data foibles), as well as degrees in biology, maths and osteopathy, there aren't many things to which he can't turn his hand. When not at work, he's usually found swimming long distances (then analysing the data).

I have been practicing and enjoying Business Intelligence for over 25 years, and working with Tableau since 2016. My education includes a B.A. in Mathematics and MBA. Although I have long been interested in data, my experience with visualization was limited to Excel (and some ArcMap) until my first Tableau course in 2017. It has only been in the last two years, however, that I have incorporated Tableau into my work and have focused on improving my skills. During Tableau Conference-ish 2020, I decided to get certified. My involvement in the Community Forums began as a means to prepare for the exam. In addition to my work in IT Services with Georgia Tech’s College of Business, I am assisting the Business Analytics Center with Tableau projects. It's amazing to start contacting tableau in 2019! It solves many problems that can not be solved by many tools and software in the past. From basic data cleaning to the interactive display and commercial application of the final dashboard, it realizes a complete closed-loop tool for business management, and has great potential. I personally like the knowledge and tools related to data science. Matthias is a BI consultant for Business & Decision Switzerland. He works in different areas (financial services, tourism, ITSM, etc.), which suits him very well as he worked as a journalist for many years. Matthias solves problems with critical thinking and uses creative approaches. As a former librarian, he loves helping others with their challenges with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, Tableau Prep Builder, data visualization and automation. I began my data journey in 2014 productizing analytics for my company using Tableau. After that I have been a part of #datafam, and starting from 2019, I am working full time as Tableau consultant focusing on the server and any scripting around the server. I try to keep up with the latest development by testing beta releases, and participating in prerelease testing whenever possible. My strongest Tableau memory is from my first TC back in 2015, when the entire arena with 11.000+ attendees gave standing ovations when Developers On Stage presented "Cross Database Joins" - that is when I realized that the Tableau users are really something special. I have 15 years of analytics experience, in the retail sector, but have a keen interest in all things data, and have worked on a wide variety of data-sets. Steve is a Product Owner for an NZ finance company. Originally from the UK, he took a year out to travel the world and never returned. A background in software expanded to BI and data before he was thrown into human centered design. Customer research was a defining experience, leaving Steve passionate about the value of blending qualitative and quantitative insights. Zach Leber
Zach has been a Tableau evangelist since 2010. As director of analytics for the world's largest DNA sequencing center, he created Tableau data visualizations of lab and project operations including a real-time laboratory sample tracking dashboard in Tableau.
Zach was the co-chair of the Boston Tableau User Group from 2011 to 2019, hosting, organizing, and speaking at dozens of meetings.

Donabel's first impression of Tableau: magic. It's magic in how it made data easier to understand, and more fun to work with. She still thinks so (and even more so) to this day. Hi :) I'm Jade and I have been using Tableau since 2017 where my initial journey sparked. I spent a few years working with Tableau in finance and operations at Clemson University. Today, I am a visual analytics consultant at Analytic Vizion where I get to work across multiple industries from healthcare, to subscription, to real estate, to finance, and more. Jared Flores is a Solutions Architect at Analytic Vizion with a wide range of experience from cloud database solutions, data preparation and engineering, and data visualization. Jared is an avid participant in the #PreppinData community initiative, having recently completed over 150 challenges in 100 days. Jenny Martin
When Jenny first found Tableau 3 and a half years ago, she immediately wanted to use it to build a Pokédex, which is still one of the projects she's most proud of today. Discovering Tableau Prep a couple of months later opened up a whole new world of possibilities and soon enough she was encouraging others to prepare Pokémon data through Preppin' Data challenges. It's one of her favourite things to geek out with people taking their first steps with the tool. My life was totally changed when I met Tableau. Since I was inspired by Tableau's belief people are born with creativity, I have been working to spread data-driven culture. I'm the founder of the #DATASaber program which is a community-driven program that fosters people who promote a data-driven culture and activates the community. Also I established several TUGs in Japan such as Tabjo (Women's UG in Japan), Viz for Social Good Tokyo Chapter. Currently I'm in the leadership team in Japan Tableau User Group #JTUG which is the largest TUG in Japan. Prasann Prem is a Product Engineer currently working alongside the innovation team at American Express Global Business Travel. His philosophy to share his learnings and grow helped him to establish his Tableau Buddy program. With this initiative, he has helped several individuals all around the globe to kickstart their Tableau and data analytics journey. Prasann is a mechanical engineer graduate and found Tableau in the year 2020 while going through a data science and AI program. Since then, he has enjoyed working with this tool and loves the value addition that the tool can bring to his organization's business. He is also a Tableau Public Featured Author, a mentor at Data Visualization Society (DVS) and continues to build visualisations with the topics he is quite passionate about. Sean Miller
By day, Sean is a Lead BI Developer at Cerner Corp where he leads the dataviz strategy for Cerner's standard EMR analytics. He and his team also lead an Analytics Center of Excellence to provide training and supports both internal analysts and clients. By "night" Sean is an enthusiastic member of the Tableau #Datafam. While participating in everything including co-leading the Kansas City TUG and being a #WorkoutWednesday coach, there's always something new I'm working on. I enjoying getting to know newer Tableau users and getting them started with the basics.
Sekou Tyler
Sekou Tyler is a self-proclaimed "data geek" a computer aficionado who combines the scientific elements of data analysis with the narrative properties of data visualization. His degrees and certifications have allowed him to use his version of data storytelling in several industries. Sekou is fascinated by the learning process; he actively seeks out ways to improve his skillset and uses different tools to display actionable data to empower people to make better data-driven decisions. Sekou has also artfully fashioned professional development workshops. Simon Beaumont
Simon is Director for JLL's Business Intelligence Centre of Excellence and he supports a team of analysts to translate complex data into meaningful business insights for operational and senior leaders. He is passionate in his belief that a Centre of Excellence must be more than just technical excellence: it should be underpinned by a culture of continuous learning, innovation and collaboration--beliefs that were all founded on his regular interactions with the Tableau community. In his spare time Simon's passion is sports; in 2018 he combined his love of data and sports to help co-found Sports Viz Sunday, a community data visualisation initiative to help showcase the amazing sporting visualisations created across the Tableau Community and to help connect like-minded individuals.

Thi Ho is a professional in data analytics based in Singapore. She was a Tableau Public Featured Author in 2020 and is a 3-times Tableau Ambassador (2020 to 2022), and APAC leader of Viz for Social Good. Thi is passionate about communicating data effectively and building data literacy and data democratization to optimize the values of data. Aaron is a Tableau Developer in Orlando, FL and has been a Florida Tableau User Group leader for the last 2 years. He has been using Tableau for over 8 years in a wide variety of industries (call center, insurance, marketing and sales, theme park, automotive, education, consulting). He has attained the Partner Certified Associate, Certified Associate, and Desktop Specialist certifications. In addition, he attended and presented for the first time at TC22 in May of 2022. Personal hobbies include softball coach, major league baseball, acoustic guitar, smoking BBQ on the grill, and using all the available PTO time on vacations. Abe Diaz
Abe is a Data Analyst at Nuview Analytics and has been involved in data analytics since leaving the Marine Corps in August 2020. During Abe's MBA Finance program he found his passion for business intelligence and data analytics. Abe's constantly learning and becoming more proficient in the following tools: Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, R, Python, and Power Bi. He is also a co-leader for the Veterans Advocacy Tableau User Group which is the first User Group to serve the veteran community. Alex Waleczek
Alex started using Tableau in 2015 after moving to New Zealand and quickly realised the potential for it to be more than just a reporting tool. He got involved with the local Tableau User Group, first as a presenter and organiser, later-on as a host. As an active member of the community on Twitter, he helped organising the Tableau Fringe Fests and the #DataFamCommunityJams to connect the community when people were stuck in COVID lockdowns. After working for a Tableau partner and a customer, he now leads the Analytics Practice for the largest Salesforce partner in New Zealand. He still co-leads the Auckland Tableau User Group and the APAC #Datafam Check-In and joins community events wherever he can.
Anna Foard
Anna Foard is a Senior Consultant at Analytic Vizion, an organization born to "equip and inspire the next generation of data and technology leaders" while serving clients and community. A former math and statistics teacher, her non-traditional career journey sparked a passion for empowering individuals with education and data literacy. Brandi has been using Tableau for over 10 years in a variety of enterprise capacities and is certified both in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. She is focused on developing a scalable data strategy, building a data literacy program, delivering an enterprise analytics platform, and growing a community interested in data science and analytics. Skilled in Tableau, Alteryx, and Python, she has a strong technical track record supported by a Masters of Science in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University. Diego Parker
Diego is a Data Analytics Specialist with a love for community and data culture. Originally from Chile, he moved to the UK in 2018 and joined The Data School, part of The Information Lab. There he learned Tableau under some of the best users in the world and set on a mission to solve complex problems using data. Ella Worsdale
I am currently the Head of Business Intelligence for Integral UK (JLL) and co-lead of the UK Northwest Tableau User group. I discovered Tableau in 2014 and went on to successfully implement Tableau across a large NHS Trust which enabled a huge shift in the use of data for the organisation. I am proud to have been a Tableau Ambassador since 2019. I recognise the benefit of having a great network to enable shared learning and encouraging others to succeed. It is great to be part of such an active and supportive community, and I love being able to bring people together through the user groups. The Tableau community has had a huge impact on my life and my career, and I am humbled to be recognised again as an Ambassador.
Eric A Howard
When Eric attended his 1st Nashville Tableau Users Group meeting, he knew these were his people. Specifically, people who love to talk data. Financial Data, Healthcare Data or Research Data, it’s all good data. One of the main things that keeps him coming back are the interesting data conversations. He loves helping people and he usually gets more than he gives. TUGs are wonderfully weird that way. As the Manager of Data Analytes for a surgical practice in a major regional university medical center, there is plenty of data in Eric’s everyday life. Mostly healthcare and financial data. When the Nashville TUG faltered in 2019, he knew he had to help bring it back. With a small but solid leadership team that formed at TC19, the Nashville TUG not only survived the pandemic but thrived in a new virtual environment. Today Eric is leading the move back to in-person events with a mix of hybrid meetings and social Data Night Out events. He is looking forward to working with the leadership team to help grow the Nashville Users Group in 2023. When Eric’s not working with data, you’ll find him paddling one of the local rivers or climbing at one of Tennessee’s many sandstone crags.
Ethan Lang
Ethan leads a team of world class Tableau engineers as the Associate Director of Analytics Engineering at Playfair Data. He is an Army veteran and advocates for veterans by telling their stories through data. Ethan has a very strong technical background backed up by his Bachelors degree in Business Analytics from the University of Kansas and his Masters degree in Statistics from the University of Kansas Medical Center. He has been the technical reviewer for several published books, author of three Tableau Viz of the Days, and avid blogger where he shares tactics and strategies about Tableau. Ethan is the co-lead of the Veterans Advocacy Tableau User Group and also volunteers his time with local charities that prep students with data skills. Fiona Gordon is not your average data geek. With over 20 years’ data industry experience, she is leading the way for women in the field as an all-round data visionary. My name is Frederic, I live in tropical Brisbane Australia. I am originally from France. Originally from a marketing and comms background, I discovered Tableau in 2016 and have been in love with data visualisation and Tableau ever since. So much that in my spare time I enjoy creating data visualisations about politics, sport, (Australian) social issues & social good and post them on my Tableau Public profile. Tableau Public gave me a platform to build my skills, promote my profile and allowed me to find my dream job as a data visualisation manager at a big Australian retailer. In the Tableau community, as a Tableau Ambassador, I love getting involved with data community activities to learn and make new friends. I lead the Brisbane Tableau User Group, and as a Viz For Social Good Director, I help charities promote the use of data visualisation for social change. I also love teaching Tableau at my local University, mentor students and young data practitioners.
Gina Bremer
Gina Bremer is the CEO of LiftedViz. Gina founded LiftedViz in 2021 with a focus on both data visualization consulting and education. She specializes in data visualization, data storytelling, visual design and business intelligence strategy. Gina is an expert in data visualization development infrastructure, process and project management and is the inventor of the LV5D data viz development methodology. Gina teaches data visualization for the University of Washington Data Visualization Certificate Program and is on the board of the Technology Alliance Group NW (TAGNW). She founded the Bellingham Tableau User Group after being a leader of the Seattle Tableau User Group for 6 years. She has spoken at both the Tableau and Tapestry conferences and was recognized by Tableau as one of the first 20 international Tableau Public Ambassadors. Gina has produced data visualizations for 15 companies including Fortune 500 and non-profits working in Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and Google Data Studio. Her career in data began shortly after she earned her degree in mathematics from the University of Washington. Gina joined PayScale, Inc., where she focused on analysis and visualization for digital content marketing campaigns quickly earning the distinction of producing multiple Tableau “Viz of the Day” winners. Developing this journalistic content from an analytics perspective helped her hone her ability to uncover and effectively communicate data insights beyond the numbers. This ability and passion to tell stories with data has been the differentiating factor in her career ever since.
Jack Parry
Originally from London, Jack is the Solution Consulting Lead at The Data School in New York. He started his career in data by joining The Data School in London at the end of 2018. Over the course of time, Jack has had a strong focus on Tableau User Groups, starting the Tableau Prep User Group at the beginning on 2020 and now co-leading this alongside the NYC TUG and Financial Services TUG.
Jen Shepherd
Jen Shepherd has been into data viz since 2014, applying visualization best practices as well as creativity in the non-profit, for-profit, and government sectors. She has a PhD in Social Psychology and enjoys helping organizations collect, analyze, understand, and especially use their data. She’s currently a contractor who builds data visualizations and interactive data dashboards for internal and external audiences. She also analyzes data, trains others to use Tableau, and is developing a data literacy course. Jen has been on the leadership team for the Madison TUG for five years, where she presents regularly and is very enthusiastic about motivating the TUG to volunteer and #dogoodwithdata.
Jim de Clercq
After attending a Tableau Conference in London, Jim was convinced that sharing our experiences on using Tableau had a lot of value. In 2017 he restarted the Netherlands Tableau User group and has been co-leading it since. In his day job, he's committed to building up a Tableau community in his organization and implementing best practices on their Tableau Server.
John Whitmer
John is a six-time Vizzie Award Nominee and a Co-Lead of the Boston Tableau User Group. Outside of the occasional baseball viz, it might seem like there is no consistent theme to John’s visual or analytical style but that is 100%intentional. He views each viz as an opportunity to try out new chart types or new design elements as a way to continue growing and keep his aesthetic from feeling stale. Professionally, John is the Manager of Competitive Intelligence Analytics at Staples, where his team uses Tableau to generate actionable insights through their interactive dashboard solutions.
Julia Buechting
From Artist to Data Artist: When Julia discovered Tableau in 2019 she changed her career completely from sculpting statues to drawing line charts. She is a Senior Consultant with Woodmark Consulting AG. Her philosophy for dashboards is "form follows function" and she uses visual attributes, UX-habits and iconography to make great data communication possible. She loves organizing TUG Munich events and supports Data+Women Germany, but you can also find her offline working on her latest art project.
Katrina Johnson
Katrina is an experienced data visualization expert who is passionate about the data community. She joined the Tableau community early in her analytics journey to help fill in knowledge gaps and participated in some of the community initiatives. Over the years, she has transitioned to a TUG leadership role and greatly enjoys connecting new members, sharing her knowledge, and seeing the light bulb moment for other users! She is currently a Senior Consultant at phData and based in Minneapolis, MN. In her free time, Katrina enjoys hanging with her three dogs and is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Laura Sandford
Laura is a self-proclaimed data nerd who loves nothing more than to learn. She found a love for data during her PhD in Chemistry and at the same time realised that a life in academia wasn’t for her. Laura began a career in analytics just to pay the bills but hasn’t looked back. Through a combination of self-teaching and community support Laura has become an avid Tableau user and co-leads the London Tableau User Group. Outside of all that Laura adores her two Labradors (Henry and Barney), plays netball (poorly), bakes (pretty well) and is an avid Rochdale AFC fan.
Mark Connolly
Business Intelligence Lead with a history of working in an academic hospital and clinical research laboratory. Skills include SQL, Tableau reporting and technical training. Education history includes a B.S. in Bioengineering and MEng with a concentration in Bioinformatics both from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Founder of The Millennial Analyst LLC, a side hustle turned small business focused on Tableau training and small projects in the healthcare analytics domain. Co-lead for the Tableau Virtual Healthcare User Group, one of the largest Tableau user groups running today with members from all across the world.
Maryse Monen
Maryse helps people to see and understand data. After discovering Tableau as a student years ago, she made it her mission to make data accessible and understandable for everyone. She provides Tableau trainings, creating the most aesthetically pleasing yet concise dashboards as a consultant to different companies. Patrick McCormick
Patrick founded the initial Wisconsin Tableau User Group in 2013 after starting to work with Tableau in 2012. He currently co-leads the Madison Tableau User Group and Wisconsin Tableau User Group. He has a rich work experience in the data field as illustrated by achieving a Mastery Level Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) in Data Analysis and Design. In his day job, he has a boutique data analytics firm – McCormick BI, LLC. Patrick enjoys stepping away form the keyboard to be active biking, hiking and kayaking. Ron Eisenstein
Ron first discovered Tableau in 2009. He was delighted and amazed. Currently the Tableau Architect for EverTrue and co-leader of the Advancement TUG, he is passionate about making Tableau data visualizations accessible and actionable. Ron earned a BA in political science from Washington University in Saint Louis, and an MS in information systems from DePaul University. Outside of work, he enjoys theater and the outdoors, where he loves exploring new places with his husband and greyhound rescue, Nifty.
Roshni Gohil
Roshni Gohil is an analyst at MIT's Investment Management Company (MITIMCo). While not knee-deep in data and Tableau or trying to learn how real estate and investment management work, she tries to push user-centered design, business analysis, and project management processes and methods on (sometimes) unsuspecting colleagues. Prior to joining MITIMCo, she spent 14 years across MIT, analyzing fundraising data in Resource Development, supporting end-users of the MIT Data Warehouse, and managing student employees and overseeing course reserves at the MIT Libraries. She co-founded and co-leads the Higher Education TUG (HETUG) as well as MIT's internal TUG.
Ruy Aguilar
Ruy grew up in Guayaquil, Ecuador, completed his undergraduate studies at Purdue University, and currently lives in Atlanta, GA. His career journey has made him a purple analytics leader (in the middle between business and tech). He has been in audit, finance, operations, and enablement roles, continuously leveraging data to extract insights. He has been a co-founder and leader of Hispanic Employee Resource Groups, Company Analytics COEs, and Tableau User Groups. He is a co-founder and leader of Comunidatos, the Latino/Hispanic Tableau User Group, and the FinServ TUG. He currently holds the role of Tableau Evangelist at Keyrus (A Tableau Premier Partner), where he gets to learn and share his passion for Tableau with co-workers and clients. Serena Roberts is co-founder and self-proclaimed Chief Get-shit-done Officer at Moxy Analytics. She specializes in data visualization, data literacy and community building in service of enabling data culture. Serena holds almost two decades of experience working in data and analytics in a variety of industries, and technical and non-technical roles. Since 2016 she’s led the Twin Cities Tableau User Group and She Talks Data; a Minneapolis-based group focused on improving gender equality in data and data-related fields. Tim Blaisdell
I am a co-founder of the Veterans Advocacy Tableau User Group. We bring the Veteran community together to talk about all things data focusing on Veterans. We also create dashboards for Veteran non-profits to help spread awareness. From New England, I graduated from UConn. I live in Northern Virginia with my wife and twin daughters. I'm a ten-year Air Force Vet (four active, six Guard) and a public servant currently with the Federal Aviation Administration as a strategic planner for the Office of Commercial Space Transportation. I love road cycling, my German heritage, traveling, anything military, aviation, or space, sci-fi (where my Trekkers at?), chess, stickers, and good beer/bourbon/wine.
Tim Cady
Tim is currently a Data Viz Manager within the ESG and philanthropy space at JP Morgan Chase. Tim and his team work to communicate opportunities and progress in the firm’s efforts to enrich and empower underserved communities. Prior to joining JPMC, Tim led a data viz CoE at a financial services company in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. Both during and after work hours, Tim enjoys enabling and teaching others, particularly through local and internal user groups. When not talking data, Tim enjoys playing/coaching in local rec sports and catching up with friends for some live music or games.
Tomoko Wakamatsu
I work for a company as a BI Engineer and ServerAdmin. Mainly, I am in charge of supporting data utilization for local governments. In the process, I became involved in the Tableau community, where I met a lot of great people, and now I am leading the community. The user community I am a part of is diverse. Supporting various events is now my hobby and joy.
Tore Levinsen
Tore is a Tableau Jedi with experience since version 7.0. He’s based in Bergen, Norway, and is one of Europe’s most merited Tableau Trainers, with over 2.300 people trained in 15 countries. He's also the leader of TUG Norway. He has over 20 years of experience as a consultant, advisor, doing pre-sales and as a trainer. He's been working with Tableau since filled maps and area charts were introduced. He has over 50 Tableau t-shirts/hoodies and a growing swag compilation! On his spare time, he supports Liverpool FC and are a handball and soccer coach for kids.

Yamil uses Tableau daily to develop interactive dashboards creating insights and analytic visualizations for Executive Leadership, Marketing, and Sales. He has experience with a diverse range of data from the entertainment, travel, e-commerce, financial services, and brokerage industries. Agata first discovered Tableau in 2016 when she needed to plot the geographical locations of major donors for a work project. When she received a copy of Cole Nussbaumer Knaflic's book Storytelling with Data a short time later, the first seeds of how to specialize her career were planted. In 2020, Agata completed every #MakeoverMonday challenge and continues to participate in several community projects and publish personal vizzes to Tableau Public. I'm Ant, a senior data visualization developer at Lloyds Banking Group plc in the UK. I spend my working days in Tableau designing business dashboards and insights and spreading the Tableau love across the organisation. Brittany is a Sr. Analyst at JLL who believes everyone is better with equitable access to data. She is passionate about the good data viz can achieve in communities and businesses alike. Brittany was introduced to Tableau Public through an internal enablement program and has been hooked ever since. Learning from the vast repository of published content and participating in community data challenges are her top data pastimes. Dennis Kao is an Associate Professor in Carleton University's School of Social Work, where he conducts health equity research and teaches courses on community practice, nonprofit management, and research/statistics. Kyle Yetter is a Senior Manager of Product Analytics at Ancestry who aims to make decision making easier for the executives he works with by having the relevant data ready for them when they need it in a way that allows for actionable insight. He also works to help others in the organization improve their Tableau skills, including hosting a live Workout Wednesday session each week to share how he goes about solving the challenge and answer questions about how certain outcomes are achieved. Lindsay has been using Tableau for over 9 years and is a 3x Tableau Visionary and 4x Tableau Public Ambassador. She has been working in the healthcare field for over 15 years and is a Senior Consultant, Design Lead, at HealthDataViz. Lindsay loves creating beautiful custom dashboards that challenge what Tableau can do both technically and visually by always telling clients "anything is possible." She is the founder of #ProjectHealthViz, a community data visualization initiative that strives to "tell the stories of our health" through visualization, and co-wrote the book "Visualizing Health and Healthcare Data". Lorna Brown
Lorna is a speeding tipping magician, who loves to give back to the community. She started her journey as part of the Information Labs Data School in 2015, and now is a Data School Coach helping train the next generation of Analysts. Lorna co-leads Workout Wednesday, a community project. She also co-leads the North West UK Tableau User Group in her spare time. The community is a big part of Lorna, and she wants to do all she can to give back. Luke is an Analytics Consultant at phData, Inc. and has been working with Tableau for almost 5 years. Maureen is currently a consultant at a humanitarian organization in Afghanistan where she specializes in data analytics and visualization. She has always been keen on data and believes it and its insights are powerful and could change the world. Michelle started using Tableau Public at the end of 2018 to participate in #MakeoverMonday. When she is not practicing with #MakeoverMonday, #IronQuest, or #ProjectHealthViz she likes to viz about topics in her everyday life and engage with the data community on Twitter at @maf2k. She co-leads #VizOfficeHours, #TheFeedbackLoop and #DataFamCon and has occasionally tried to broaden her horizons attempting to blog at My Data Continuum. My name is Mo and I am a senior analyst in the British Olympic & Paralympic sport system. I enjoy using Tableau to create detailed visualisations where you can find a different story each time you look, and recently I have started playing with parameters and set actions to explore the limits of what Tableau can do. I am a massive sports fan and when I'm not analysing and visualising sports data at work, I am often doing it for fun as one of the co-leads of #SportsVizSunday. Based in Ness Ziona Israel, Nir is a senior data visualization engineer and analytics Center Of Excellence lead at Zoominfo. SSarah is a Tableau Enablement Consultant at Red Hat where she works on the Tableau Centre of Excellence team. Shazeera is a lawyer by training, a human rights advocate, and a self-taught comic artist. She is currently a Senior Adviser on Research and Innovation for the Association for Prevention of Torture, a non-profit organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. My name is Tamas Varga and I'm a data visualization expert and team lead of the data visualization team at Starschema. Hi, it's Bill here! I am currently a fourth year student at University of Toronto, doing an Economics major, a Statistics and Chemistry minor. Hi, my name is Franz Kayser and I am currently studying in the master's program Digital Business and Innovation Management at the University of Applied Sciences Münster. After graduating from high school, I completed an apprenticeship as a bank clerk in 2016. I worked in the defence and security industry for 35 years using data processing and analytics to solve problems for a number of customers. Currently a director of Dmist (www.dmist.com) where we apply processing techniques to enhance imagery and find novel solutions for customers using cameras and Electo-Optical sensors. I am also a lecturer at he University of the West of England where I teach Marketing and Business analytics to students. On this course I use Tableau to teach students the importance of data visualisation and analytics. This has been carried out using various scenarios and we have utilised Tableau to explore different visualisations to help bring out the key features of the data in a way which can help inform visualisation. At the University I also use the analytics component of Tableau to illustrate trends in data and to make future predictions and to estimate the uncertainties in this data. We have used the clustering function in Tableau to identify customers with different attributes and to identify relevant techniques which could be applied to each of these groups. The students, on my course, have enjoyed using Tableau and have seem how useful it is for data visualisation (getting a clear message home) and analytics to help make informed decisions. I am a data enthusiast working as a Data Engineer at an LSE-listed company - TBC Bank Group PLC. Mainly working on IFRS reporting automation, have created, modified, and optimized 100s of database objects, ETL processes, Documentations, Paginated, and BI reports. I constantly share knowledge among chapter and agile team members. Have been enrolled in highly competitive programs of Data Engineering (30 participants from ~800 applicants) and Risk Management (20 participants from ~900 applicants). Have created Python Introductory Online Course where up to 100 students were enrolled. I am pursuing a BA degree at the International School of Economics (Tbilisi State University). Having a stack of various data-related tools obtained through both formal and informal means, Tableau is amongst the most sophisticated ones, and I am excited to become a Tableau Student Ambassador.

Hi everyone! My name is Jacob Sutanto. I am a graduate student at California University- Fullerton studying Information System- Business Analytics while working full-time as a Tableau Analyst at the largest wine distributor in North America. I found my passion for data visualization when I was a child. I used to draw simple graphs and diagrams to visualize the class demographic. Then, I was introduced to Tableau last year and fell in love with it. I've learned a lot in the past year, and I've seen tremendous progress in my Tableau journey. I also have a Tableau Dekstop Specialist while working on to be a Tableau Certified Data Analyst. Looking back a year ago, when I could only visualize "boring" pie charts, now, I can visualize some of the advanced graphs and modern-looking dashboards. My name is Kuhepa Tjondu and I am a Lecturer in the Department of Economics, Accounting and Finance in the Faculty of Commerce, Human Sciences and Education. I joined the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) in 2019 and I have been an active participant in the academic, social and administrative activities at the university. I started my teaching career at the Namibia Institute of Technology (NIT) in 2013 before joining the University of Namibia (UNAM) as a Lecturer on contract in 2015. I am a certified chartered Accountant through the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and I completed my MSc in Professional Accountancy with the University of London in 2016. For my master's degree, I completed a research project which focused on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and I graduated with Distinction from the University College London (UCL). I strongly believe in continuous professional development (CPD) and I have completed a number of qualifications during the 4 years that I have spent at NUST. In 2020, I completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE) at NUST and the Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) through the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI). In June 2022, I completed a certificate in Quantitative Research Methods through the Digital Initiative for African Centers of Excellence (DIGI-FACE). My previous industry experience in Namibia includes working as a Financial Manager at Hillcrest Pharmaceuticals, working as an Equity Analyst at Capricorn Asset Management (CAM) and working as an Auditor at MMG Global Auditors and Accountants. I have audited a number of public sector organizations such as Swakopmund Municipality and interacted with the directors and employees of the Office of the Auditor General (OAG). As an executive member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Namibia and a member of the Economic Association of Namibia (EAN), I have met and interacted with a number of key stakeholders in the Namibia Economy. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a number of new courses at the universities where I have taught. I strongly believe that the role of an academic should not be limited to teaching and I have been an active participant in the social and cultural activities of the university. I am the Guardian of the NUST Accounting Society (NUSTAS) and this year we visited a number of high schools and audit firms in Namibia. In 2021, I worked with the colleagues from the NUST Fees Committee on the Benchmarking of University Tuition fees Model and I presented our finding to the Vice-Chancellor and other senior colleagues at the institution. Laura Moreno Montes
My name is Laura Moreno Montes, and I work as a Senior Analyst at Hotelbeds. I graduated from the University of the Balearic Islands as an economist, which gave me the opportunity to begin working at Hotelbeds, where I discovered, thanks to my coworkers, that my true passion was the world of data information, so I decided to pursue a master's degree in Big Data. Regarding the master's degree, one of the subjects that I enjoyed the most was data visualization, where we used Tableau as software; this was not the first time I had used it, as it was my daily tool at work. I remember in class when the professor quoted John Naisbitt, "We are drowning in information but starved for knowledge," and hearing it for the first time cleared up all my doubts about whether I was in the right place. At that moment, I imagined myself working as a Data Analyst in the future, satisfying my continuous need for learning. This experience is proving to be quite challenging and is teaching me that there are no boundaries to knowledge. However, it is sometimes difficult to balance work and education, and, as with any stage, there are days when everything appears grey, but it is during those days that I look back and see everything I have accomplished, thanks to my perseverance. The multinational where I work has designated me as the company's BI Tableau Champion, making me a Tableau reference within my organization. As previously stated, all of this is accomplished through hard work and daily perseverance; these are the necessary ingredients for becoming the best version of oneself. In my spare time, I enjoy participating in sports because they stimulate my creativity. Specifically, races help me clear my mind and see things clearly. When a calculated field doesn't work for me or a visualization doesn't convince me, I turn off my computer and put on my sneakers, ready to clarify my thoughts. Furthermore, it was during a race a few years ago that I decided to create a Tableau Public profile and publish stories through visualizations so that any other user could use that visualization or design in their dashboard; my only goal was to help the rest of the community. I had no idea at the time that I would have the opportunity to be chosen as an aspiring Tableau Student Ambassador. In my Tableau Public profile, I publish various workbooks, from visualizations that I use in my day-to-day work and are very useful for my colleagues, and I believe they can inspire other Data Analysts, to analyses of public sources that can help the rest of society better understand what is going on in the world. As a good economist, I enjoy publishing reports on universal income, tourism, and social inequality, particularly gender inequality. In addition, I enjoy being inspired by the work of other users and learning new tricks to engage the dashboard user. Overall, Tableau has provided me with the opportunity to be a part of a wonderful community where I've met people who are fantastic at creating and telling stories with visualizations. Being a part of the Tableau community has not only allowed me to continue learning, but it has also allowed me to assist other users who were just starting to use the tool and develop their most creative spirit; having the opportunity to assist others in this way is very rewarding.

Lauren Begg is an Assistant Estimator at Aetna Roofing Corporation with two years of experience working in the Commercial Roofing Industry. She is also a member of National Women in Roofing and is a student in the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants. Lauren is a senior at Rosemont college with a major in Marketing and a minor Political Science. At Rosemont College, she is a member of the Women's Softball Team and the Women's Cross Country Team. As a member of the Women's Softball Team, she has earned awards issued by the Colonial States Athletic Conference for Second Team All Conference for outfield, and All Academic Team. She was also awarded All-American Scholar-Athlete accolades issued by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. With a passion for Marketing Research, Lauren published a study on Tableau called The Dating Game with Tinder in May of 2022. This study gave insight into women's perceptions and usage of popular dating apps, with a specific focus on Tinder. The Dating Game with Tinder, looked into how women currently view and use the app, and proposed ways to better market Tinder to women based upon their recorded responses of their motivation, success, ratings, and more. Lauren's goal is to find ways to incorporate Marketing Research into the commercial construction industry. She is passionate about finding ways to further develop modern marketing to expand and connect different trades within commercial construction. Lauren currently resides in New Hope, Pennsylvania. Outside of work and school, she coaches at Newtown Rock Softball, where she was a member of the program for ten years before graduating and going onto play division one softball at La Salle University for two years before transferring to Rosemont College. She is dedicated to mentoring and bettering prospective college athletes of all ages.

Pritika Gulati is a senior undergraduate student at Rider University studying Business Analytics and Digital Marketing. She has been working at Penn Medicine as an Information Services intern for more than a year. Pritika's role includes performing social media analytics and creating advanced visualizations to convey analytical insights to direct reports. On campus, Pritika is the President of the Data Analytics & Information Systems Club and Director on the Student Advisory Board for the Association for Information Systems. Her passion for data visualization was ignited two years ago in an Introduction to Visual Analytics course, which provided the fundamental skills to perform visual data analytics in Tableau. Rajesh Sigdel
My name is Rajesh Sigdel, and I am a Doctoral Candidate in Geography at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. The main focus of my ongoing research is on urban watersheds, specifically I study rivers and water resources at a variety of spatial and temporal scales. I examine human impacts on hydrology and the dynamics of wood load transport within river channels. In my work, I utilize a range of methods including remote sensing, geospatial analysis, fieldwork, and modeling. It is a great honor to be selected as part of the 2022 Tableau Student Ambassador cohort, and I look forward to bringing my unique perspectives on spatial data to the wider community. I began my Tableau journey about two years ago, when I was looking for a rapid and responsive toolset to analyze and visualize my dissertation data. Tableau met both of these requirements for me, and since then I have been a constant advocate for the software both in my department and on the wider university campus. In recent times, I have been exploring the wide range of spatial data analysis options that Tableau offers, and I have been excited to augment and enhance much of my GIS workflow with Tableau's beautiful and seamless mapping options. My favorite of these is the flow map, which can be used to show flows between origins and destinations on the Earth's surface which is especially helpful for tracking wood flows in streams. Another aspect of my journey is that I am an international student from Nepal. My birth country is rapidly developing, and there is a need for innovative analytical approaches to visualize the ongoing urbanization process. I hope that I can share Tableau not only with students on my campus, but also with my friends and family living abroad so that the Tableau community can continue to grow and expand in content and quality.
